What is Galaxy on Injective?

In the Galaxy, there are tough, collectible creatures known as Astronauts. The Galaxy has a player-owned economy, meaning players completely own their digital stuff and can trade, buy, and sell them, similar to real trading cards and collectibles—all while enjoying the excitement of earning rewards through gameplay.

Galaxy is the first decentralized play-to-earn game powered by the Injective blockchain, hosting a vibrant ecosystem.

Use your $GALAXY tokens to explore the galaxy, build new structures, and upgrade them to earn more GALA. Find the best strategy and send your astronauts to get the job done!

By purchasing new buildings and upgrading them, you will accumulate more GALA. Each week, the more GALA you have, the more $GALAXY tokens you will earn! Compete against other players with your unique strategy to climb the leaderboard faster than the rest!

What is GALA? GALA is the in-game currency used to upgrade your astronauts, buildings, and expand your galaxy. The more you upgrade, the more GALA you earn! GALA also determines your position on the leaderboard. The higher you are on the leaderboard each week, the more $GALAXY you will earn!

Upgrade your galaxy: Use $GALAXY tokens to purchase more astronauts that work for you! There are five different astronauts, each with unique benefits and work experience. Choose your own strategy! The more astronauts you have, the more GALA you will receive.

Weekly prize pool: Each week, you will take part in the weekly prize pool based on the GALA you have collected during the week. The more GALA you have, the more $GALAXY tokens you will earn! 90% of the $GALAXY tokens spent on in-game upgrades go to the weekly prize pool, with 5% allocated to instant burn and the remaining 5% dedicated to the project's development. Also, 70% of the $GALAXY tokens spent on in-game characters contribute to the weekly prize pool, with 10% going to instant burn and the remaining 20% allocated to the team/development and future reward pools.

What determines how many $GALAXY tokens you will earn is based on the amount of GALA you have collected over the week (formula: your GALA/total GALA in circulation = your % of the $GALAXY prize pool you will receive). Each week when the prize pool is distributed, your GALA tokens will be exchanged for your % of the prize pool, meaning your GALA tokens will be reset to 0 each week.
